Blue tansy is species of Genus Tansy of Compositae family, latin name:Tanacetum annuum Blue tansy is the special plant in north Africa.Due to the mediterranean climate and geographical particularity, those plants become really rare in other areas.Currently the best blue tansy is cultivated in Morocco. As those herbal plants grow yearly, they are harvested and extracted in the same year which make the volume quite limited, additionally the intense antianaphylaxis makes them become the pearl of aromatheropists! Morocco blue tansy is not the blue colour in appearance as its name appears, they are the classic chysanthemum herbal plant with multi-petalled blooms that grow annually.Because the plant contains a large number of female chrysanthemum azure hydrocarbon, so the oil distilled from its leaves and flowers gives the sea-like ink blue colour, coupled with the antianaphylaxis and anti-inflammatory repair, in some ways has a better than the German chamomile superior efficacy, the smell is not the same as the bitter medicine of German chamomile, they are more accepted and understood by people. Sabinene is characteristic of blue tansy, and the blue color of the oil is due to chamazulene. |
